Earth Day Celebration Planned At Hobbs State Park

Hobbs State Park will host an Earth Day Celebration at the Park's Conservation Area on Saturday, April 14.

Here's a list of scheduled events:
10:00 a.m. until 1 p.m.- Various "Table" programs throughout the visitor center

10:30 a.m. - Mother Nature Reads (designed for the little ones)

11:00 a.m. - Tree Detective Hike on Ozark Plateau Trail

12:00 p.m.- Meet the Animals:  Live critters

2:00 p.m. - Noted Botanical author Steven Foster speaks on "Ozark Herbs and Medicinal Plants"  (Weather permitting - a walk in the woods with Foster to identify herbs following his presentation)

3:30 p.m. - Introduction to Animal Tracking on Ozark Plateau Trail
