A Rogers man is behind bars after police say he beat up one of his neighbors, and tried to rape her.

Police say Stephen Kaufmann attended a party at the victim's house Saturday night, and on Sunday Kaufmann's wife went to check on the woman and found her unconscious.

After investigating, police arrested Kaufmann. The man faces charges of first degree battery and attempted rape.
