"I think sometimes they think everyone is safe."
As for the finalists, their days are filled with mentor meetings, rehearsals, fittings, stage blocking, Ford commercial shoots and countless other activities, barely leaving time for them to unwind at the mansion.
"We're all so tired and it's a constant thing," says Colton Dixon. "Weeks are blending together."
Fan interaction for the contestants includes Twitter and Facebook. Bu Joshua Ledet has already seen the side affects of using social media.
"I had a fan write me on twitter and asked for all my information, my social security and all kind of stuff like that," explains Ledet. "I don't know how this fan got my phone number, but they also texted my phone constantly."
No doubt about it -- the Idols are starting to feel like stars.
