Coaching Search at Crossroads, Hogs Put Trust in AD Long

Nearly two weeks have passed since the firing of Bobby Petrino on April 10th, athletic director Jeff Long immediately labeled linebacker coach Taver Johnson as the acting coach while he conducted his search, and still there is no indication of when his search will be complete.
Long said over the weekend he's identified candidates from both inside and outside the program and that he hopes to have a resolution to the situation sooner rather than later and that his search is still ongoing.
