America Celebrates Earth Day

Events took place around the country for he 42nd annual Earth Day.

People in Pittsburg turned soil and planted trees while other walked through their neighborhood picking up trash.

On Sunday afternoon at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., folks joined in a rally for mother nature.

An Indianapolis event offered free food, arts and crafts and other activities for kids.
