Emmy-Nominated Casting Dir. & UA Grad Talks Hollywood Biz

An Emmy-nominated casting director is in Fayetteville this week, teaching University of Arkansas students about the magic of Hollywood!

After graduating from the UofA, Elizabeth Barnes went on to work on several popular TV shows.

This week she's back at her alma mater to encourage students to explore a career in TV and film.

"I think the entertainment industry is only growing," Barnes says. "It's a great place to work, it's a great way to make a living, and it's something that often, in this part of the country, we don't know a lot about."

Barnes also worked with students on their acting skills, and even hosted a workshop for those interested in working behind the scenes.
