Sports Park Price Finalized

The city of Rogers finally has a final price for the city's sports park.
The city council approved an amended contract that puts the maximum guaranteed price of the Rogers Sports Park at $7,570,003 and planners say construction has started at the site.
The final design includes six softball fields, consession stands, bathrooms and amenities. The original plan included soccer fields as well, but the project had to be scaled back after bids came in $5 million higher than original estimates.
Planners say the park will be completed by December 31.
