According to the police report, an online investigation recently linked sexually explicit images of girls between the approximate ages of 8 and 14 to a computer that belongs to Daniel McCauley.
Police say several items and multiple computers were seized from McCauley's residence on Coral Canyon Loop in Fayetteville and that a preliminary examination of one of the computers revealed evidence that relates to the downloading and distribution of illegal and explicit images.
Officers say McCauley admitted to the crimes in an interview, saying he's downloaded and viewed child pornography for the past several years. He's now charged with four felony counts of distributing, possessing and viewing matter that depicts sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
