St. Francis House Community Clinic Receives 500-Thousand Dollar Grant

As part of the Affordable Healthcare Act, the St. Francis House Community Clinic in Springdale has been awarded a 500-thousand dollar grant.
According to the clinic's director of development, the facility has seen a 50-percent increase in the number of patients since 2008 and this money will allow for even more growth.
"Over the next two years, we'll be expanding the facility capacity for family practice here in Springdale," said Cambre Horne-Brooks. "That will open up access for an additional five thousand patients to get care at the community clinic."
Horne-Brooks also says the clinic has served approximately 25-thousand patients over the last year.
