Friends of injured Lowell Police Chief Joe Landers have raised thousands of dollars.
Organizers say a fundraiser at Jose's in Springdale Tuesday brought in 5,000 dollars.

Chief Landers was hurt last Friday night at a bike rally in Florida after police say a drunk driver ran into Landers motorcycle.  Landers now has a brain injury and is in critical condition.

The Lowell Police Department has set up an account for donations in Joe Landers name at Arvest Bank.

Fast Lane in Lowell is selling $20 Chief Landers Fast Fun Cards.  Each card costs $10and all proceeds go to the family.

On Monday, Lowell police officers spent time in the community getting donations from local businesses.

Hundreds have joined the Prayers for Joe Landers Facebook page.
