WR Quinta Funderburk Granted Release

FAYETTEVILLE -- Class of 2011 4-star wide receiver Quinta Funderburk was granted his release by head football coach John L. Smith, the University of Arkansas confirmed the news to the Razorback Nation on Wednesday.

Funderburk enrolled at Arkansas for the spring semester after graduating high school early. The Virginia native was one of the highest rated commitments in the 2011 class and redshirted his freshman season. At the start of spring practice in 2012 Funderburk was listed in the bottom half of Arkansas' depth chart at receiver. He has four years of eligibility remaining should he transfer to a non-FBS school.
