NWACC Installs Rain Garden

Northwest Arkansas Community College community members installed a rain garden today at the school's Bentonville campus.
The garden is part of a larger project of the Illinois River Watershed Partnership. The group is helping install the gardens in public places to show people an easy way to protect the environment by reducing storm water pollution.
The gardens capture rainwater and help slow absorption into the ground, rather than letting heavy rain run off into a sewer.
