A student group at Rogers High School made a wish come true for one of their classmates who's been battling cancer.

A Rogers senior fighting cancer will get to swim with the dolphins in Hawaii, and today the school's DECA club put together an assembly to celebrate the announcement.

Students were dancing and singing for their classmate Evelyn, who went through a fourteen hour surgery to remove two tumors and eight weeks of radiation therapy in Little Rock.

"I'm about to graduate in a couple weeks," Evelyn told the crowd. "I would just want to appreciate Arkansas Children's Hospital so much, cause they were so supportive and helpful."

Mayor Greg Hines was also in attendance, and presented the girl a key to the city.
