Students Thank Cafeteria Workers

Bentonville's lunch ladies are getting some credit this week for their work to make sure students stay fed.

Second graders at Central Park Elementary created some custom aprons for their cafeteria workers to show thanks as part of School Nutrition Employee Week, and the cooks say it's nice to know the kids enjoy eating the food.

"We all got teary eyed," says main dish cook Kyla Green. "We are very happy that they appreciate us like that."

Administrators say other schools in the district also have plans to celebrate throughout the week.
