Springdale's Har-Ber High School is expanding its sports.

Beginning in August the Wildcats athletic program will have a new place to workout and get better.  A 1.5 million dollar indoor facility is currently being built.  The building includes a workout room, and a 60 yard football field.  The school is also building a new, 1 million dollar, track.

Head football coach, Chris Woods, said, "For us it is the next step because it serves so many kids, this multi-purpose facility that is going up, over the calendar year, it could be the most used facility on this campus year end, year out."

School officials say the new track will help all 12 schools in the district.  Currently those 12 schools all use the same track in the city.
