Updated: May 10, 2012
A woman was arrested Thursday after police say she caused a disturbance at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.

According to a police report Laurianne Demers used her car to block a Tyson food van and its passengers on XNA property. The woman told the victims she had a gun.

Because the investigation is ongoing, the airport's director is not releasing specifics, but says the incident took place on the north end of the property, away from the terminal.

Demers was arrested by XNA police and sent to the Benton County Jail. The woman is charged with aggravated assault, false imprisonment, terroristic threatening and driving under the influence.
