Heads up east Fayetteville drivers - road construction could cause congestion on Crossover Road.

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department has announced some planned lane restrictions related to work on State Highway 265, Crossover,  in Fayetteville.

Over the next 8 weeks, traffic will be restricted to one lane on parts of the raid from highway 45 to Joyce Boulevard to allow for the installation of drainage structures.  These restrictions will affect drivers from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

When the restrictions are in place, both northbound and southbound traffic will alternate using one travel lane and directed by flaggers.

Times and dates may change for weather conditions.
