A group of Bentonville High School students wrote and illustrated a book about the history of the city.

The book "Origins of Bentonville" is on sale at the Walmart visitors center, and all 80 pages are filled with essays and artwork created by kids from the school.

Tenth-grader Kassidy Stanton contributed two articles about businesses on the downtown square.

"It was really great to see the perspectives of other people who have lived here for a really long time and how they've seen Bentonville grow and change," she says.

The proceeds from the book sales go to the Bentonville Public Schools Foundation.
