NWACC Approves New Logo, May Expand Into Washington County

Northwest Arkansas Community College may be expanding across county lines.
In a meeting Monday night, the school's board of directors voted to move forward on discussions with the owner of some land in Springdale, just west of Arvest Ballpark.
The land would serve as a location for a Washington County instructional center.
NWACC leaders also approved a new logo and tag line Monday.
The motto: ''Maximize potential. Exceed expectations.''
School officials say the new logo is a promise that Northwest Arkansas Community College is an institution where students can bring out the best in themselves.
