Updated: May 21, 2012
Election day is just one week away, but one major issue might be pulled from the ballot.

The .25% sales tax increase in Washington County is now being challenged in a court of law.  Circuit Court Judge Chad Mason will hear arguments that the tax increase was incorrectly sent to the polls by the Washington County Quorum Court.

The hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Friday at the old courthouse in Fayetteville.
