While is Los Angeles, California covering the American Idol Finale, Idol Edge gave back.
They volunteered at the Los Angeles Mission, which served almost 40,000 meals in one month to the homeless men, women, and children of L.A., living in downtown's Skid Row.
Recent studies show there are more than 50,000 homeless people in Los Angeles County. In relation to Northwest Arkansas, that is almost the entire population of Rogers.
Brad Reed and Marissa Stevens worked in the kitchen, and served those in need.
Humberto Guitierrez is a chef in the kitchen and said he was once homeless, but is now celebrating 20 years sober.
"It's very fulfilling for me, you know, I feel happy I'm almost ready to cry. I'm really happy working for them and I enjoy working for them," said Humberto.
