It took a Benton County jury most of the day to decide if Samantha Mitchelle was guilty of the death of four month old Dominic Sanders. Mitchelle had been baby-sitting Sanders for about a week when the infant had to be taken to the hospital for seizers. Sanders latter died. Prosecutors charged Mitchelle in the death. Mitchelle faced a charge of first degree murder, but a jury found her guilty of the lesser charge of murder in the second degree. The sentencing phase of the trial will start tomorrow at 8:30 in Judge David Clinger`s courtroom.
