Casey Abrams has a new jazz album he's working hard on but spent some time under the media tent with the Idol Edge crew.

Abrams said the work the finalists do is a grind.

"They go through so much. We just work all the time, seven days a week. The only time I had off was Easter." Abrams said.

Abrams also said it's easy to lose track of where you are in the world.

"It's a fantasyland. You lose track of reality when you're in Idol, you come out of it and you're like 'where am I?'"
