Moments after Phillip Phillips was named American Idol, finalists popped in for live interviews.
Shannon Magrane and DeAndre Brackensick were the first to stop by and give their immediate reactions to the big night.
"It was just so surreal. You would never think of being on stage with the American Idol winner and being there with all your friends again," said Magrane.
"They both deserve to place so even though one didn't make it, they still made it," said Brackensick.
Heejun Han swung by as well, and shared his reaction.
"I got really emotional because Phillip won the whole thing...Phillip and I go way back to the first day of Hollywood week...since then we're like best friends."
