Rheem Announces Layoffs

Rheem Manufacturing has announced lay offs for more than a dozen full time jobs.

On Thursday, the company announced the salaried employees will be eliminated from the Fort Smith headquarters and its distribution center in Texas. The company said the 16 layoffs are due to market conditions.

The Fort Smith headquarter employs about 290 salaried employees and 900 hourly.
