By: Neile Jones
Updated: June 26, 2012
Elise Mitchell is a wife, mother of two, and the CEO of Mitchell Communications Group- quite a feat for a woman who came to Northwest Arkansas unsure of her future.

Mitchell says she talked with three different mentors who all said she had what it takes to start her own agency. And that's exactly what she did.

It was an exciting time but scary too. Mitchell says she wanted to be a mom and wife and to have a happy family, but she was also eager to be an entrepreneur an build a business.Mitchell started out working from home in an effort to maximize family time and work load.  Today , Mitchell has 68 members on her  team and says her company has grown by  445-percent.

As she reflects on her business success and watches her company spread its wings, Mitchell is also a mother, watching and praying she's done the most important job of all giving  her children the tools to soar as they grow into adults.
