21-year old Pfc. Jeffrey P. Shaffer of Harrison, AR, died of injuries sustained in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, on Sept.13 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle during combat operations.
Shaffer was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Bamberg, Germany.
