If you're catching a flight out of Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport, you'll need to allow for some extra time to get there.

Road crews are resurfacing Highway 264 from Cave Springs to Highfill and the work is cutting traffic down to one lane at times.

XNA officials says the construction has caused a few folks to miss their flights.

"If you're coming from Fayetteville, Springdale or Siloam Springs, you should allow extra time to get to the airport.  We're suggesting 30 minutes, it's one lane traffic while they resurface," says Scott Van Laningham, XNA executive director.

The resurfacing should be finished in a few months.
