Just before 4 am on Monday, Rogers police responded to a residence on West Sunset Street. Officers found Eric Yanez and Nicholas Watson at the home with head wounds from a gun shot.
Just minutes later, 21-year-old David Grajeda drove himself to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville to be treated for a gunshot to the head.
Police say Grajeda was shot in the face during a house party at the home, which belongs to Yanez, but left before police arrived. The other men were injured by bullet fragments from the same shot.
Officers searched the home and found a .357 caliber handgun they believe to be involved in the shooting, as well as several marijuana plants growing inside.
Police say there was no indication that there were problems between the three or that they were upset with each other prior to the shooting.
On Wednesday Erik Yanez was arrested and charged with Battery in the First Degree, Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. Yanez is being held at the Benton County Sheriff's Office pending a bond hearing.
On Monday, 2012, Nicholas Watson was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The investigation is continuing.
