By: Lisa Mendenhall
Updated: May 31, 2012
A local group has named Fayetteville's mayor the Communicator of the Year.

If you've ever seen Mayor Lioneld Jordan's Facebook page, you know why!

He uses the page to inform residents of city meetings and government issues, as well as other events happening around town.

He's also quick to dole out congratulations to any Fayetteville citizens honored for their accomplishments.

The award was given to Mayor Jordan on May 30 by the Northwest Arkansas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
