Bail has been revoked for the man at the center of the Trayvon Martin killing.

In a surprise ruling Friday a judge ordered George Zimmerman back to jail after prosecutors claimed he lied to the court about his finances.

"Mr. Zimmerman can't sit back, as again I use the euphemism of potted palm, and let his wife testify falsely before the court when he knew well in advance of that hearing the amounts of money in controversy," Judge Kenneth Lester said.

Prosecutors claim the money in question, funds Zimmerman raised on a website he set up for his defense, totals more than $130,000.

Zimmerman's attorney says it was an honest mistake by George and his wife and that the couple did not think they could use the website money.

"I do think the Zimmerman family acted within the constraints they thought they believed they had free access to that money and I think that was evident by they way they used it and didn't use it," Mark O'Mara said afterward.

Zimmerman has 48-hours to turn himself in.

Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and is claiming self-defense in the killing of Trayvon Martin.
