Springdale High Football Teams Hosts Pancake Breakfast

By: Cassidy Hodges
Updated: June 2, 2012
Students were selling and shoveling in pancakes at Springdale High School's annual pancake breakfast.

With a five dollar ticket folks could eat as much as they wanted at Springdale's Applebees.

And all those pancakes support Springdale High School's football team.

Coaches say the turnout every year is overwhelming.

"It's very important with the budgeting the way it is, it's really important that we get out and sell and the community helps support these kids," says Robert Johnson, an Assistant Head Football Coach at Springdale High School.

All the money from today's fundraiser goes towards extra equipment players might need, but that's not in the school's budget.
