It may be wedged between Fayetteville and Springdale, but Johnson has an identity all its own, and Saturday the city hosted its annual Johnson Festival to celebrate it!
Mayor Buddy Curry says it's a way to promote the town, and also allow residents to come together as a community and to get to know one another.
"We just want to all be a big, friendly town, and let everybody in NWA know that Johnson is here, and we're a great place to be," Curry says.
The Johnson Festival features a car show, great food and lots of fun for the kids.
The Northwest Arkansas Naturals' mascot Strike also got in on the fun Saturday, taking pictures and playing with kids!
