A Fort Smith Woman Arrested for Stabbing Her Boyfriend for Cheating on Her.

Police say that Teresa said while on the way back Cassandra pulled a knife and stabbed Daniel in the stomach. Teresa said Cassandra then tried to pull her from the car but she fought back. Teresa said she was trying to keep Cassandra on scene until emergency personal arrived. Teresa had a bite mark on her right forearm just below the crease of her elbow.

 

Police say Teresa also informed them that earlier in the day she had received a call from Cassandra saying that Cassandra asked her if she would help her "hide the body." Teresa told Cassandra she did not want any part in that.

 

Officials say Daniel Waldrop went to St. Edwards Hospital for his injuries and told them that he was sharpening a knife in the garage when he tripped over his dog and accidentally stabbed himself in the chest. Cassandra Hawkins arrested and charged with Domestic Battery 2nd Degree with a sharp instrument, Domestic Battery 3rd Degree, and Possession.
