Sgt. Craig Stout with the Fayetteville Police Department says they first received a complaint of a reckless motorcycle rider on Rupple Rd. passing other vehicles on the right.
The caller told police the next time they saw the motorcycle, it had run off the road just south of Mt. Comfort Rd.
Sgt. Stout says the motorcycle was a 883 model Harley Davidson. It was the only vehicle involved in the wreck.
Stout says the rider was not wearing a helmet.
Some next of kin have been notified, but they are not releasing the man's name at this time.
