Fans at the Walmart Northwest Arkansas Championship are flocking to a familiar face.

Friday was the first day of the annual LPGA tournament, and thousands of fans were on the course, but most were following the featured three-some of Juli Inkster, Michelle Wie, and former Razorback Stacy Lewis.

Stacy said, "It's just awesome the way fans over the years have supported me."

During the round folks were not afraid to call the Hogs when Stacy did something good.

She said, "Nobody else on tour has this."

The Hog call even had a fellow player envious.

Wie said, "I wanna hear that cheer all day tomorrow.  You know I was thinking, I wish Stanford was cool enough to have a cheer like that."

As the group walked up to the stadium-like 17th green, Stacy had something for the fans.  She threw out autographed Razorback footballs, and hats.

She said, "I'm trying to get 17 rowdy, we wanna get it a little crazier every year."

"We'll have to keep it up for this weekend, I'll have to get some more ideas going."

Stacy is currently tied for 19th at one under par.  She begins round two on Saturday morning at 9:00.
