A man who tells police he's armed has barricaded himself in his apartment.

Lieutenant Kevin Foster with the Rogers Police Department says they were called to 1280 W Sunset for an argument between a couple.

When officers arrived on the scene, the man had barricaded himself in the apartment.

Detectives have secured a perimeter and are trying to make contact.

The subject says he is armed, but police don't believe there are any hostages at this time.
