The Benton County Judge has banned fireworks displays in the unincorporated areas of the county.
The ban does not include the selling of fireworks.

The ban also does not include professional displays by an organization which applies for a permit with The Benton County Fire Marshall.

The Judge says there could be an amnesty day when conditions improve.  Possibly around Labor Day.

Also according to officials in Benton and Washington Counties, grilling does not apply to the burn bans as long as it is an enclosed grill and not an open fire pit.

As of Thursday, there are burn bans in place in all counties in our viewing area.  In addition, these cities have banned fireworks inside city limits:
Bella VIsta
Bentonville
Bethel Heights
Cave Springs
Centerton
Elkins
Eureka Springs
Fayetteville
Farmington
Fort Smith
