Things got heated when Benton County Sheriff Keith Ferguson was pulled over by a Bentonville Police Officer.

The incident happened Saturday morning on Walton Boulevard in the Walmart Home Office parking lot.

Ferguson was stopped when the tags on his county-issued Chevy Silverado failed to return as registered to a vehicle in the State.

According to an incident report, Ferguson also failed to provide any registration or proof of insurance because he felt he didn't.

In the dash-cam video provided by the Bentonville Police Department, the officer can be heard describing Ferguson's behavior to dispatchers as "uncooperative and rude."

Ferguson was eventually allowed to leave without a citation.
