On Friday a select group of students and teachers visited with US Department of Eucation representative Lizzette Gonzalez Reynolds.
Since Bentonville High School is being recognized for their education system, Reynolds met with the group to find out what makes their school system so successful.
Ninth grader Madilyn Grimm says its not just one thing. "We have so many resources, not just a library but also an E-Library and great teachers."
For the past two years Bentonville High School has shown consistent improvements in test scores.
Students say with such a progressive school environment, they see the importance of heading to college.
