July 9 - that's the deadline the FBI has set to check your computer for a specific virus.

It's called DNSChanger Malware, and if it's on your computer, come July 9, you'll be unable to connect to the internet.

Here's why: The malware modifies settings on certain computers, allowing hackers to cash in on their users.

Luckily the FBI caught it and is shutting it down, but that means if you don't get your computer cleaned now, you could be left in the dark this weekend.

"Any infected computers will end up not having internet access any further," explains Scott Fendley, the information security manager for the University of Arkansas. "They won't be able to find Google.com, instead they'll get a blank screen saying, 'Hey, I can't find this server."

University of Arkansas IT guys say this virus has also affected some wireless routers, meaning your phone or even a Mac could have it.
