King Issued Ethics Letter for Violating State Law

By: Garret Krier
Updated: July 10, 2012
The Arkansas Ethics Commission has issued a letter of caution to Captain Lance King for violating state law.

They said King accepted football tickets, bowl tickets and a Sugar Bowl ring from the University of Arkansas football program.

In the public letter, the ethics commission advised King not to engage in the same activity again. A letter of caution is one of the commission's mildest sanctions, according to its rules of practice and procedure

The commission also can issue letters of warning and reprimand and can levy fines between $50 and $2,000.
