Rachers are in Springdale for the Arkansas Farm Bureau Officers and Leaders Conference.

Randy Arnold is a rancher from Crawford County and said he is feeling the drought.

Not only has Arnold seen the changes on his land from the dry, hot weather, he added that insects have infested his crop because it's the perfect home for bugs. "With the grasshoppers with this drought, it's perfect condition for them. Their natural predators are being killed by the heat," Arnold said.

The Conference runs until Tuesday, July 24th.
