Trial Date for Man Police Say Strapped Fake Bomb to Woman Moved

Updated: July 25, 2012
A court date for a man accused of strapping a fake bomb to an elderly lady and forcing her to rob a bank has been changed.

According to Washington County Prosecuting Attorney John Threet, Paul Bradley's trial has been moved to October 3rd because Bradley's defense attorneys asked for more time.

Threet says Bradley is facing numerous charges including aggravated robbery, and if convicted, could face life in prison.

The charges stem from January, when police believe Bradley forced his way into the Washington County home of Herbert and Betty Davis, duct taped Herbert to a bar stool, strapped a fake bomb to Betty's leg, and forced her to ride with him to a bank and attempt to rob it.
