Chick-fil-A Record Numbers and an Expensive iPhone

Chick-fil-A has a record day and the iPhone 5 may cost a pretty penny.  It's the top stories trending online in The Pulse.

Congress Puts Stops on Westboro
The Westboro Baptist Church got the smack down from Congress with the passing of HR167.  The act is heading to the presidents desk for his signature. In addition to a wide range of benefits for veterans, the bill prohibits any demonstrators from picketing military funerals two hours before or after the service, and requires those protesters be at least 300 feet away from the grieving relatives.

Vertigo
"Vertigo" takes the top spot from "Citizen Kane" as the greatest film of all time. The British Film Institute releases it's poll of the top 50 greatest films of all time  every 10 years and after 50 years of being at number one, "Citizen Kane" slipped to number two moving the 1958 Hitchcock thriller to the top spot.


Chick-fil-A
Customers turned out in droves during the unofficial Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day Wednesday. Executive Vice President Steve Robinson says it was a record-setting day though Chick-fil-A is not releasing the exact numbers. Gay rights activists are calling for their own show of support Friday with a national same-sex kiss day at Chick-fil-A. 

iPhone 5
Trending on Twitter all day Thursday was outrage over the rumored price of the iPhone 5.  The new iPhone has not been released yet and the release date and price have both been kept hush hush by Apple executives. The rumors stem from this image pulled off a Chinese auction website claiming to be taking pre-orders for the new iPhone .

Jonesboro Shooting
An Arkansas mother is demanding answers as to how her son ended up dead in the back of a police car. Jonesboro police say the man shot himself in the head while handcuffed but his mother is challenging that account of what happened. Police say they're still investigating and haven't ruled out the possibility that someone else may have shot Chavis Carter.  The officer involved is on leave while they investigate.
