Local Man Organizes Rally to Raise Awareness for Child Safety in Cars

With the number of heat related deaths in Arkansas this last week, a local man wants to make more people aware of child safety in vehicles.
Tim Randall held a rally today in Springdale to make folks aware of the number of heat related deaths and he wants to do something to prevent these types of fatalities from happening.
"What we want to do is try to see if we can't get a law passed or get a law into legislature or something that says, 'Hey when you walk away from that vehicle with a child in it with the windows up and no air on and nothing coming in get ready to go to jail because that's where you're headed,'" says Tim Randall, a concerned parent.
Randall says he is working with a local lawyer to get this type of legislation to the capitol.
