Arkansas defensive coordinator Paul Haynes spoke to the media following Tuesday's practice. The Razorbacks held an eighty plus play scrimmage to finish the workout. Here are a few topics coach Haynes talked about in the interview.
On the scrimmage:
"You know there were a lot of good things. You don't know exactly until you watch the film but one thing we have to get better at and what we stress is how important giving up big plays. A lot of times those plays happen it was probably a mental mistake."
On Otha Peters and AJ Turner:
"His playmaking abilty, he has a lot of it. That is what you like out of him and A.J. Turner. Those guys they flash on film."
Darius Winston:
"I haven't been here long but this is probably been the best I have seen him. It really started with his offseason. His offseason program and his numbers were off the roof."
Kelvin Fisher move to safety:
"We looked at him at corner, he has been at corner for us. We sat there and we sat him down and you guys know the depth at safety is kind of slim with guys like Darius and Kelleybrew stepping up we felt like he would help us a little bit more at safety."
