Following Tuesday's workout the Razorback Nation caught up with four Razorback defensive players to talk about the scrimmage and other things going on in camp. Hear from cornerbacks Jerry Mitchell, Rohan Gaines and Tevin Mitchel as well as linebacker Terrell Williams.
Here are a couple of quotes from the guys on camp.
Jerry Mitchell :
"I think we have to polish up some things on defense. The offense was running really well and they also pass very well. For the first scrimmage I think we tackled good and we just have to concentrate on getting better everyday."
Rohan Gaines:
" I think we did pretty good. I think we accomplished our main goal which was stopping the run. Now e have to focus on doing better on the passes. They said Tyler Wilson had a great throwing day which is good because he is the best quarterback in the country. We just have to focus on taking one step at a time."
Tevin Mitchell:
on WR MeKale McKay "He played basketball and he is going to be a pretty good receiver. I enjoy watching that, him going up and getting the ball like he is on the court. He has those arms that he can extend and get the ball."
on RB Jonathan Williams: "I see a very bright future for that young man. I appreciate the work he has been giving to this program since he has gotten here. He is a hard worker and he is like a little Knile Davis."
Terrell Williams:
"We really don't worry about too much with the critiscm. I have a lot of trust in all my linebackers. We have a lot of guys that don't have the experience but are capable of making plays and a lot of people are going to see that this year."
