If you`re planning to travel by plane this Thanksgiving, it`s probably going to cost you more than it did last year. Airline experts say ticket prices have increased by 15 percent.
"That`s because the airlines are doing a much better job controlling their capacity and when they do that they can control the prices that they charge a little bit more adequately, so we`re seeing fares creep up," says Kelly Johnson, director of the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.
She says Thanksgiving week is one of the busiest week`s for airports.
But she says it`s still possible to find deals...like if you`re willing to travel on Thanksgiving day you stand a better chance of getting a cheaper fare.
