10 Year Old Girl Murdered

Police got a call from a Springdale apartment around 8:45 Saturday morning. When they arrived, Springdale police say they found a 10 year old Marshallese girl dead. Her legal guardian Abon Tili told police he had been drinking with a friend and passed out Friday night. Police have not been able to get a hold of the friend.
Captain Laney Morriss said in a news conference, "We need to identify this individual right now."
26 year oldTili is charged with a felony for endangering the welfare of a minor.
The medical examiners office said the ten year old was strangled to death and there are signs of a sexual assault.
Police are not revealing the victims name yet since she is a minor they are trying to contact her parents in the Marshall Islands.
Police dont know why the victim was here without her parents or how long she lived with Abon Tili, her legal guardian. If you have any information that can help in the investigation they are asking you call the Springdale Police Department.
